Experimental / Exploratory Music Research Centre (EEMRC)

The EEMRC is a growing community of composers, performers and musicologists dedicated to research into experimental and exploratory music (broadly defined) at the RNCM.

This includes relevant research in composition, performance, improvisation, musicology, music technology and interdisciplinary practice from staff, students and external partners.

As well as collecting together current creative practice and research at the RNCM the hub also intends to instigate new collaborative projects and dissemination through symposia, conferences and performances.

The hub is connected to Decontamination, an RNCM concert series dedicated to exploratory/experimental music performed by visiting professionals and RNCM Students.
